Pastor Todd Harris is a pastor/teacher who delights in engaging people of all ages and backgrounds with warmth and energy to build unity in diversity in Christ’s Church. He is ordained to Word and Sacrament and studied at Regent College (seminary) in Vancouver, Canada. He also holds a cell biology undergraduate degree and a professional grade 4-12 teaching degree, but it’s the school of new life in Christ that has been the most vital component of who Todd is today. Todd grew up in New England and has traveled extensively, even running a successful yacht design and survey business in Taiwan. He has taught science and math in a Christian school, served as a Christian Education director and elder, and pastored a 100-year old suburban church in Calgary, Alberta before coming with joy to Hutch. His wife Mei Li and he met in Taiwan and they have 3 boys: Ian (Kendra), Ethan and Caleb. Pastor Todd’s life verse is 1 Timothy 1:12-17.
Kim Conrad is Oak Heights Office Administrator. She was part of the church plant back in 1993 and joined the team in a staff role in 2005. Her husband, Dave, and she are the proud parents of 3 children. Hannah and Bekah are out of the house, but Ethan keeps them on their toes. In August 2012 they welcomed Kevin to the family with his marriage to Hannah and have since welcomed a grandson. Kim’s favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”
Amy DuFrene is the Christian Formation Pastor. She joined the team here at Oak Heights in spring of 2009. She is a Hutchinson native and a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. At Bethel she studied Youth Ministries until her junior year where she switched to Communication Studies to help create a unique perspective into the youth world today. She has a passion for youth, ministry and media. Her husband, Mike, and she have 2 little boys-Malachi and Nathaniel. Amy is commissioned in Youth Ministry; studying with North Park Seminary and Knox Theological Seminary. Amy’s favorite verse is Joshua 3:5b “Consecrate yourself for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”
